Good morning, ChemSurvivalists!!!

So I am sitting at the kitchen table, waiting for the morning java to soak into the old bloodstream before diving into some home projects, and I just came across these!

Last year I decided to test my Illustrator and ChemDraw skills with a few fun, chemistry-themed desktop images for my computer. One afternoon and six cups of coffee later, I had these!

Most of them have rotated on to my work computer at one point or another, making appearances when I started up for lectures. They managed to get a chuckle from my students, so I figured why not share them with the world!

Lots of these designs also found their way onto shirts, mugs and other items in my CafePress store. Some of what I learned in the process has come in very handy for creating lecture slides and graphics for my upcoming project with The Teaching Company.
